Mar 7, 2008 - Ben Bernanke is out of his fucking mind. Since when did Federal Reserve chairman start stating his opinion on public policy openly. Wow, this man is a socialist. There is no other way to describe those recommendations.

Mar 7, 2008 - Pssst...whatever you do...censor anyone who uses...the words "socialism" or "socialist"...to draw attention to our agenda...Cut them off immediately...
madisonpaine Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - Heh! Notice how whenever one of the guests brought up the S word ("Socialist"), one or both hosts quickly interrupted and tried to redirect the conversation. Pawns. Or quislings ... take your pick.
sonofaglitch2 Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - I love the keyword in this video: "socialist." Perfect. As the democrats continue to receive record support, America nudges closer towards Soviet Russia in historical terms...hyperinflationary monetary policy, massive government, and a suffering populous. I'm afraid it's going to take some pretty terrible economic casualties for people to start paying more attention to the truly key issues that this country faces.
IrreducibleParadox Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - Sure too much government control can become a problem and stifle growth and other important economical variables. The worst is when the government creates expensive programs that are a waste of money, you know, like your homeland security. But there are some "freedoms" from taxes that amount only to freedom from empathy. Everything doesn't thrive in a climate where greed is the singular greatest driver, health care would be one example.
IrreducibleParadox Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - And by the way politics should be above name calling. Because when it resorts to empty insults, 'socialist' that and 'socialist' this, you know that the discussion is heading back to kinder garden. That said I think that the FED is just going to make things worse.
chrisz5z Says:

Mar 8, 2008 - Sweden was my homeland, until 1995, when it became part of the European Union... moving to Sweden is no longer a good idea... :(

Mar 8, 2008 - expatdk wrote: "However some socio-liberal countries like Sweden or Denmark have no economical problems!" There's a big difference between America and socialist countries in Europe. European countries have their shit together....America doesn't. Our borders are broken, our gov is broken are people are too diverse to agree on one system. Socialism probably works great for ethnically harmonious countries in Europe where everybody is 'on the same page' but in America, no.

Your countries sovereignty & identity is being destroyed. Your money is replaced with the euro. Your individual powers are being taken away from you. 'Soviet Union, European Union, North American Union'. To any countries that haven't joined EU yet I would say DON'T!
jaychins Says:
Mar 8, 2008 - me too think that is out of his mind
lcoscare Says:
Mar 8, 2008 - Exactly!!! Plus I would add that America's population is just too big, Sweden and Denmark are small, homogeneous countries and income is distributed quite evenly.
joekidd33 Says:
Mar 16, 2008 - yeah, because europe doesn't have a MUSLIM problem... The ONLY reason why europe SEEMS like it is better than America right now is because europeean countries are NOT trying to maintain an empire.
itillbeme Says:
Mar 21, 2008 - Sir Joe. Where's this guy been. He nailed the socialist argument here. He states the Bernanke should be replaced. The should have him on more often especially to cross check Charles. Joe hits clean up and takes it out of the park
